"Feelin' Crabby" Crabs Cakes

Despite having a bad day yesterday, I still managed to get dinner on the table. I was crabby, so what better way to cheer myself up than with crab cakes!? (It helped!)
Even though they are never the same twice, I always start with the same basic recipe. Here you go! Enjoy!
Crab Cakes

Crab Cakes Sizzlin'
Ingredients
3 - 4 tablespoons cup oil
1 (16 ounce) can canned crabmeat, drained
1 egg
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon dry mustard
8 ounces buttery round crackers, crushed
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
1 cup panko or regular dry bread crumbs

Directions
1. Combine crabmeat, egg, mayonnaise, dry mustard, crushed crackers, garlic powder, and Old Bay seasoning in a bowl. Form into 1/2 inch thick patties. Coat the patties with bread crumbs.
2. Heat 3 - 4 tablespoons oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Cook cakes until golden brown on each side. Drain briefly on paper towels and serve hot.

Here's a recipe for a lemon dill aioli that goes very well with these crab cakes.

Lemon Dill Aioli

1/2 cup mayonnaise
3 teaspoons lemon juice
3 teaspoons dried dill
1/4 cup sour cream

Directions
1. Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl.
2. Serve with crab cakes.
